About MeMy name is Walker Powell, and I’ve been working in masonry since 2014, when I started alongside my father. With a decade of experience as a brick, block, and stone mason, I take pride in delivering high-quality, affordable masonry services.I attended VMI where I earned a Bacholer’s of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, I am also a certified Engineer in Training (EIT).As an active-duty Army servicemember, I primarily work on evenings and weekends, making my schedule more suited for smaller projects rather than full-scale home construction. I specialize in a variety of masonry work, including:- Building patios from the ground up, including pouring concrete, laying flagstone, and constructing stone retaining walls- Constructing outdoor fireplaces and fire pits- Repairing or replacing cracked or loose brick, block, or stone- Installing stone veneer for decorative finishes on walls, chimneys, or fireplaces- Building or repairing brick and stone steps for porches, patios, or entrances- Tuckpointing and repointing to restore mortar joints in brick or stonework- Chimney repair, including fixing cracked bricks and deteriorating mortar- Constructing or repairing stone or block retaining walls for landscaping- Creating outdoor kitchen features, such as stone countertops, BBQ surrounds, and pizza ovensIf you're looking for reliable, skilled masonry work for your home or outdoor space, feel free to reach out, I’d be happy to discuss your project!
